Mental Health Resources at Medical Colleges
Aim: Gather information about the types and number of relevant clinical services provided by your institution.
Nepal faces a significant challenge in providing adequate mental health services to its population. Despite the increasing recognition of mental health as a critical component of overall well-being, our country grapples with a dearth of resources and professionals. While our country has made notable advancements in areas of mental health in the past few years, including the establishment and running of services, unfortunately, the general public does not have easy access to such information.
NIOMH aims to build a comprehensive resource list of health centers and institution-delivered services for public use, benefiting both the local community and a wider population nationwide.
We are starting the earlier phase of building the resource list, by gathering data from Medical Colleges of Nepal
